The Goondee Aboriginal Artefacts in Lightning Ridge is a cultural treasure founded in 2000 by respected Elders Uncle Roy and Aunty June Barker.

Originally housed in a shed on their property, it preserves local Aboriginal artefacts, traditional tools, weapons, photographs, and historical materials from Yuwaalaraay/Euahlayi, Murrawarri, and surrounding Nations.
