Events & Activities

Lightning Ridge is the place for some pretty significant seasonal activities. Kicking off the autumn season with our annual Easter Festival, followed by the Opal Festival during the last week of July each year and ending with the Black Opal Classic Bowls tournament each October. In addition, weekly markets, touring bands and entertainers, and celebrations such as the annual Grawin Festival that are a bit further afield.
